About Miles Gibson

Miles Gibson is a poet, novelist, screenwriter and artist. He was born in a seaside town on the edge of the New Forest and spent most of his adult life living and working in London. He now lives in Hampshire, overlooking Southampton Water and loves his new home but expects, eventually, to return to London.

His published words include eight novels, two books for children and three poetry collections. His writing has been compared to that of Dylan Thomas, Ian McEwan, Evelyn Waugh, Paul Theroux, Mervyn Peake, Martin Amis, Stella Gibbons, Julian Barnes, Carl Hiaasen and Graham Greene, among others.

He is currently working on a graphic novel-within-a-novel, another kind of fiction, creating illustrated episodes within an original work.
